What is osmanthus?


Osmanthus is the flower of a shrub mainly found in China, where it holds strong symbolic and cultural value. In addition to flavoring teas and liqueurs, several legends mention the presence of an osmanthus several meters tall in front of the Moon Palace. It is celebrated during the Mid-Autumn Festival for this reason. After extraction, an absolute with a scent of peach, leather, and 'kernel water' is obtained. Ours highlights its juiciest and fruitiest facets in an excessively velvety composition.
