Mate - Perfume

Product’s description

An effusive mate associated with the fruity notes of fig and aquatic mint.

What is mate?

Mate is a traditional beverage of the Tupi-Guarani Indians, made from the leaves of the Paraguay tea plant (ilex paraguariensis). Named 'mate' by the conquistadors based on the Quechua name for the gourd used in its preparation (mati), mate has been known in Central America for millennia. Used for its purifying and energizing virtues, as well as by shamans during divination rituals, mate was severely condemned by the Church in the 17th century, but that did not hinder its use. Its entry into perfumery is relatively recent, and it is classified in herbal notes alongside hay and tea. That's why we awakened it with a touch of aquatic mint and the greenness of a fig accord.
