OLIBANUM

Sacra - Perfume

Product’s description

Mineral resins amplified by balsam fir. The original fragrance, in all simplicity.

What does Sacra mean?

Frankincense is the resin obtained by incising trees of the Boswellia genus, present from the southern Arabian Peninsula to Kenya through India. Among them, Sacra, endemic to the Sultanate of Oman, is historically the most renowned, both for its mineral, lemony, and mentholated fragrance and for its therapeutic virtues. This resin has traced the Incense Routes, and for millennia, it has been used in Vedic, Sumerian, Egyptian, Roman, Hebrew, and Christian religious rituals. Therefore, it is no coincidence that our 'totem perfume' is called Sacra.
