Canihua grains

Canihua is a crop from the Peruvian Andes that has been used as astronauts’ food since 1985.

This cereal is a great source of protein (15%-19%) which can be used on free meat diets due to its essential amino acid content such as lysine, isoleucine, and tryptophan. It is a gluten-free food with a low glycemic index. It also contains vitamins (E, B complex) and minerals (calcium, phosphorus, and iron).

Blends and shakes, flour mixes (Bakery, noodles, confectionery, and cereals), precooked meals, breakfast product ingredients, and cereal bars.
