ARCADIA DAIRY
Féta
Product’s description
Main Features
No. 1 Greek cheese, "Arcadia" feta is only produced from fresh sheep's milk (70% minimum) and goat's milk (30% maximum) of high quality coming exclusively from the Peloponnese, like it has been produced since 1930, that is to say for three generations.
Rich in nutrients, feta is eaten as a table cheese and complements flavors of all kinds.
Its maturation lasts almost three months, then this cheese is stored in a tin container with brine.
Feta is a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) cheese because it is produced only in Greece. It is a firm and compact cheese that crumbles easily, with a slightly salty and spicy flavor due to the flora and fauna of the region. It has no crust and has a myriad of small holes.
It has a pleasant, slightly acidic taste and a rich fragrance.
It is eaten alone or as an accompaniment to a meal or fruit.
