The Royal Tree Salt (Coarse)

Product’s description

The Royal Tree (wood) Salt is made from the heartwood of a pine tree and two types of traditional salts (boiled grained salt and sun-dried coarse salt) produced in South Korea. We only use the precious aroma of the heartwood of Hwangjangmok grown deep in the mountains. Hwangjangmok is the finest pine tree growing along the Taebaek Mountains in Korea. Due to its excellent quality and scent, it has been used only in royal families since the 13th century and is called the Royal Tree. These pines absorb good nutrients from the surroundings on good quality soil and grow for at least 150 to 1,000 years or more. Moreover, the heartwood of Hwangjangmok contains a variety of nutrients and many useful ingredients in a highly concentrated form, so it has a strong resistance and is a natural material that is very valuable. Combined with the mineral-rich sea salt that comes from the ocean, this special blend of salt with the heartwood has a savory aroma that accentuates the flavors of any meat or seafood.
