AT THE HEAD

Mégane Jeanmaire Dit Cartier is a young qualified optician born in Cognac, in the Charente region of France. Passionate about fashion, decoration and travel, she was looking for a job that would allow her to give free rein to her creativity and her taste for beautiful products.
After training as an optician, Mégane acquired her skills in eyewear design and creation in 2015 via the Bachelor lunetier créateur program at the Institut Supérieur d'Optique de Bordeaux. Her end-of-year internship with the Australian company Jono Hennessy became a trigger: "Why don't you design for yourself?". The idea took shape. A few months later, armed with her own particular sensibility, unfailing support and a helping hand from the Rotary Club of Cognac, she launched the creation of her own brand of high-end eyewear.

In the image of French feminine elegance, Meg was born in the summer of 2015. Attentive to the relocation of French know-how and
Mégane imagines a collection 100% handmade in Oyonnax. With feminine designs and sober, elegant colors, the models are crafted from cellulose acetate, a material made from cotton flower. The frames on offer illustrate the company's motto: quality in the service of sophistication. Meg's frames are resolutely elegant and unostentatious, setting them apart from other eyewear brands. A unique bridge shape and a signature in the temple become the brand's hallmark. Meg's attention to detail and the quality of its service and manufacturing ensure a pleasant collaboration with opticians and wearers.
Each model, the fruit of meticulous work in over fifty stages, is delivered in a leather case inspired by a famous French viennoiserie.
