We are one of the Portuguese leaders in the wholesale of fresh and frozen wild fish.
Founded in 1945, the Vidinha Group is dedicated to the commerce and cut of wild caught fish.

The headquarters in Madeira Island, were we have a fresh manufacturing unit, a frozen distribution centre and a new unit destined to prepared ready to cook fish.
In Azores island, we also have a manufacturing unit and some logistics centres strategically located on some islands of the archipelago.

Operating in the fish auctions of Portugal mainland and investing in the quality of our products presents itself as a factor of recognition in the fish market.

We sell more than 100 species of fish, molluscs and clams, making the diversity one of our assets.

With our own tuna boats fleet we stand out in the tuna business, were we are taking more than 70% of the captures in Portugal (more than 3500 tons/year); this strength is also assured in the Black scabbardfish with more than 750 tons/year.

We have our own fishing fleet and we buy from the official fish auctions daily, this factor is a warranty that all fish caught within the established quotas and in accordance with the sector’s legislation, in sustainable way and mostly from artisanal fishing boats.
