An integrated agri-food company
CLAI (Cooperativa Lavoratori Agricoli Imolesi) is an agricultural cooperative that operates in the agri-food sector both in the cured meats sector, with a particular specialization in the salami segment, and in that of fresh beef and pork.
The company mainly operates in two factories: in Sasso Morelli di Imola (BO) dedicated to the production of cured meats and in Faenza (RA) where the transformation of beef and pork is carried out, adopting the most advanced operating procedures to ensure animal welfare and high quality standards in the system and in the manufacturing processes.
The company's products are present in all sales channels and in all Italian regions.
In recent years, CLAI has developed its presence abroad especially in the cured meats sector.
About 300 members are part of the cooperative, made up of both breeder members who deliver the livestock, and worker members who carry out their activities in the various sectors of the company.
To date, CLAI employs over 500 workers and the 2020 turnover has exceeded 290 million euros.
