Brevno is a handcrafted, eco-friendly and international eyewear brand. Brevno's workshops are located in different parts of the world, in order to recover, recycle and work the raw materials to favor a circuit, the shortest possible. Thanks to this work, Brevno has received the optic for good label.
Brevno researches and creates new tools and technology for its eyewear manufacturing. Historically Brevno has always worked with wood, and since 2019 we have finalized a new material; the Midori. It allows us to create a new collection through recycling. Today, Brevno is distinguished by three orientations:

The traditional collection

Wooden frames, Brevno uses a special glued laminate technique that does not alter the properties of the wood used. And our different colors are obtained through a dyeing process that allows the pigments to go to the heart of the fiber, for a permanent hold that does not fear shocks. This preservation of the wood allows the optician to rediscover his eyewear side with frames that can be repaired and not thrown away in case of drama. Brevno glasses can thus tell a story through their experience, and preserve the bond that can exist between them and the consumer. Each frame is finished with our wax-oil blend to make it water and dust resistant.

The Midori Collection

Midori is a material made from the recycling of certain non-biodegradable plastics, a material usually created instead of being reused by manufacturers. The way we work with it, allows us to give a second life to these materials and our know-how allows us to imitate to perfection some noble materials such as marble, horn or ebony or to give them a completely different aspect.

Thus, Brevno collections are handmade, not hesitating to mix art and technique. Brevno is therefore a brand with a strong style, a unique personality, marked by exceptional creativity (shapes, colors, materials).

The pleasure of eyewear
The Brevno workshop provides opticians with a restoration kit. This kit contains all the parts needed to restore the frames: oil, wood leaf, plates, etc... This, together with the unique Brevno hinge system on the entire collection. This allows to ensure a fast and efficient service, also in order to allow a quality and fast after-sales service. The optician, regains his role of spectacle maker, ensuring the repair and modification of the frame of his customers according to their desires.
