Biscuiterie Les Sablés d'Asnelles

Les "Sablés d'Asnelles" is an artisanal biscuit factory founded in 1904. It is located in the heart of the small town of Asnelles, in Calvados (14).

Developed by the baker of the time, the recipe for the mythical shortbread with Isigny PDO pure butter has never changed, an ancestral recipe, well kept and passed down from generation to generation. Asnelles shortbread is a simple shortbread, with the taste and scent of yesteryear, made from quality ingredients duly selected and mainly local; French wheat flour, sugar, AOP butter from Isigny sur mer and eggs from free-range hens...

Every day, 15,000 to 30,000 shortbread cookies are shaped and baked in our ovens. We make it a point of honor to keep traditional manufacturing methods. The breaking of fresh eggs is still done by hand as well as the clearing and packaging of biscuits.
