The Georgari family has a long olive production history. A milestone in their history was the year 1912 when George Georgariss (an immigrant to America since 1900) leaves safety and his job (train driver in Washington) to return home to join the Armed Forces and take part in the A’ & B’ Balkan Wars where he was awarded a medal.

After the end of World War II, George Georgios decides not to return to America but to pursue his great love for olive oil production. Carrying in his experiences from his transatlantic journey he decides to expand the olive groves and invests only in the “wet gold” as he called it, a phrase that was always on his lips when talking about olive oil and borrowed from Omiros.

Today G. Georgaris’ family counts over 2500 Manaki olive trees in the area of ​​Mapsos Corinth. Its oil is produced and stored in nitrogen tanks and zero‑moisture warehouses.
