ABELIA

The concept originates from an in-depth exploration of color and material: the design reveals a variation of form — concave and convex — enhancing the chromatic possibilities offered by multilayer cellulose acetate plates. The development of 2 techniques for carving the material made it possible to obtain two astonishingly different chromatic results. Each plate assembles 3 colors in a unique, custom-made combination, endowing color with a massive volumetric effect.
