Organic Madras Curry

Product’s description

First used in the 16th century by British colonists, the term 'curry' is an Anglicism of the Indian word 'kari,' which refers to saucy dishes in Indian cuisine.

There are several types of curry that vary by region, and their color depends on their composition. Our Madras curry consists of turmeric, coriander, cumin, pepper, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. It's this blend that gives it its golden yellow color.

What recipes use curry?

Mixed with coconut milk, curry pairs wonderfully with chicken, white fish, shrimp, as well as vegetables, legumes, and tubers such as zucchini, chickpeas, potatoes, or carrots. For the more adventurous, curry can be used in desserts with fruits: pies, salads, crumbles, or sprinkled directly on apples, pears, and bananas.

The strength of curry? Its ease of use: sprinkle it in your preparation, preferably at the beginning of cooking, and you're done! Its mild and spicy aromas will take care of the rest.

Our Madras Curry is certified Organic Agriculture. It is available in glass bottles of 50g and 100g, as well as a 250g refill pouch. Store it in a dry and cool place, away from light. Madras Curry does not expire, but we recommend using it within 48 months to preserve the full intensity of its aromas. Ref: curr
