Microwavable popcorn - Sweet and citrus

This microwaveable popcorn comes from corn grown in the Gers. An origin proudly put forward by Peta Milhoc which means "popping corn" in Gascon and pronounced Pé-To-Mi-Yok.

Preparation tips
Remove the plastic wrap around the pouch and place the folded pouch in the microwave, UP side up.
Heat between 1.5 min and 3.5 min depending on the power of your microwave (see instructions on the bag).
Hear the POP of popping corn! And turn off the microwave when the noise slows down to 2/3 second intervals between each burst.
Let the bag cool before tasting and beware of the steam that may escape when opening.

The producer-partners of Peta Milhòc are part of this approach, working to reduce their consumption of irrigation water and practicing agroecology. Thanks to the establishment of plant cover between the main crops, the corn grown to produce popcorn can capture up to 6 tonnes of CO2 per hectare. This practice, by working for biodiversity and soil health, also benefits maize growers who are paid for the carbon stored in their soil over the long term.
