Each ball of Casa Azzurra Mozzarella di latte di Bufala has a thin, slightly firm rind and a creamy centre. The buffalo milk gives it its generous, distinctive flavour.

Serving suggestions :

Italians traditionally eat it cold, sliced with a drizzle of olive oil and ground pepper. It goes well with tomatoes. Serve at room temperature.

When hot, it melts and can also be added at the end of cooking, cut into thin slices, to pizzas, vegetable gratins, lasagne, cannelloni, etc.
