Lola Beer

Pineios Brewery was found in 2018 and is the first independent craft brewery in Larissa. The privately-owned and well-equipped brewery is located in the 7th kilometer of Larissa-Sykourio Street. The brewery’s equipment includes a 2,000 litre automatic brewhouse, several fermentation tanks, and a state-of-the-art bottling and labeling unit, capable of producing approximately 300 HL (30,000 liters) of beer per month. The Pineios Brewery products are Lola Pilsner, Lola Belgian Ale ,Lola American IPA and Cambos beer. Our beers are produced in non-returnable 330 ml and 500 ml glass bottles and the Belgian Ale is also available in 750 ml glass bottles. Furthermore, one-use key-keg barrels of 20 or 30 litres are available for all types of beer.
The brewery has been organized in such a way, that the production process is carried out with environmentally friendly methods as to ensure that the ecological footprint is reduced to the minimum. The company has acquired food safety and hygiene systems according to the standards ELOTEN ISO 22000: 2018 and ELOTEN 9001: 2015, in order to ensure quality at all stages of production.
Since its inception, the brewery of Pineios has won many awards. Lola Pilsner was awarded with the “First Appearance Beer” audience award at the Beer Bartender Awards 2019. On While Pineios Brewery won 4 awards at the Beer Bartender Awards 2020. More specifically, Lola Belgian Ale won consumers over and conquered 1st place in the category “First Appearance Beer” and the 2nd place, in the “Pale Ale” category, judged by an experts’ committee of international tasters (blind tasting). Lola Pilsner won 3rd place, in the “Pils” category, judged by an experts’ committee of international tasters (blind tasting). Pineios Brewery won 3rd place in the public vote, both for its premium quality beers as for its corporate functions, in the “Independent craft breweries” category.
In 2021 Lola Pilsner was awarded the Superior Taste Award (**) by the International Taste Institute, the world leader in the evaluation and certification of consumer food and beverages, for her first Lola Pilsner label. His jury, which consists of internationally renowned chefs and sommelier, distinguished its taste and aromas. The company was also awarded by the Chamber of Larissa with the Entrepreneurship Award 2020 for its contribution to the local economy and the development of entrepreneurship.
Pineios Brewery, since its inception, is a member of the Hellenic Breweries Association (EEZ) and the Association of Small and Independent Breweries (SMAZE), as well as the Association of Greek Tourist Enterprises (SETE) since 2020.
