The company is located in Abruzzo, southern Italy – a green region with fantastic ecology and no heavy industry at all, situated between Appennine mountains and the Adriatic sea with its warm, moderate climate.
Since 1926 Di Vito Food produces extra virgin olive oil in Vasto and draws its origins from three generations of olive oil makers. Di Vito Food is a vertically integrated company, from production to marketing. The products are 100% made in Italy and always processed in the same way. After being pressed, the extra virgin olive oil is stored in steel tanks under nitrogen, and then tested and bottled for every production lot. To date, the company has an important capacity to process and store some 800 tons of fresh olives, coming both from the company’s owned farms and the partner farms in Vasto area.
For the last 30 years Di Vito Food has been a pioneer of organic and one of the leading producers of organic EVOO in Italy. We serve the biggest retail chains focused on organic and healthy products (NaturaSì, Conad, Auchan, Lando, Metro Cash & Carry, La Rinascente), both with own brand and for private label.
