MOTE CORN

The mote is a variety of corn (Zea Mays), of the botanical genus Triticum, like wheat. It is also called giant white corn, since its color is whitish and its size, although it can vary, is considerably larger than other grains of this cereal.

It contains fiber, so it reduces cholesterol levels, keeps the digestive system healthy and prevents constipation. The mote is easily digestible. Its content of beta carotene, a component of vitamin A, makes it an excellent antioxidant.
