Frozen passion fruit puree

Ponthier guarantees a pure Ecuadorian origin and a unique variety, the Flavicarpa, thanks to its long-term work with its partners. More specifically, our passion fruit comes mainly from the province of Esmeraldaz, located on the north-west coast of Ecuador. This region is also known as the "Green Province" because of the abundant vegetation and the brilliant gems that the Spaniards thought they would find there. This region has an ideal climate for growing fruit all year round with a stable temperature that only varies between 21 and 25°C and a particularly high level of humidity. Almost every day, Esmeraldaz experiences bright sunshine at dawn and tropical rain in the afternoon and at night.
