Nice Tech pineapple is Del Monte Gold® Extra Sweet variety,  stands out because it is twice as sweet as the traditional pineapple variety, a beautiful golden flesh and a rating of over 12º brix (versus an average of 9º brix of fresh).

Pineapple production is possible because our Joint Venture with Del Monte Pacific. The Del Monte® name has been synonymous with premium & quality foods since its debut in 1886. Nourished in the abundant, volcanic soil of Bukidnon, home to the world’s largest single-site pineapple plantation, whose rich agricultural lands are ideal for pineapple farming.

Philippines Gold Extra Sweet pineapple has four times the amount of vitamin C than the rest of pineapples, plus an irresistible and unknown flavor that achieves a balance between acidity and sugar (between 0.7 and 0.9, while in Costa Rica it is above 1).
